Synopsis: When best friends Alicia and Doreen learn that their guitar idol is leaving their favorite band, they embark on a road trip to see the final concerts and meet their hero. Along the way they experience new people, new substances, new music, and even perform their own work. Inspired by Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and The Wizard of Oz, this coming-of-age story explores first love, what it means to be a fan, and what it means to be a friend.

Young Playwrights

I will be participating in a workshop reading of a new play as part of the Young Playwrights Advanced Playwriting Workshop, which is a free year-long after-school program for high-school aged playwrights.

Founded by Stephen Sondheim in 1981 and now under the leadership of David Henry Hwang, Young Playwrights Inc. is the only professional theater in the United States solely dedicated to identifying, developing, producing, and promoting playwrights aged 18 and under.
